The front gate of Knott’s Berry Farm. This day started out with heavy rains, so they closed the park, but by noon the clouds had parted and blue skies started coming out. But it was too late to reopen the park, so they just kept everything shut.

The entrance gates, locked tight.

Looking inside the park at Ghost Town. Nobody but employees in the park today!

Water pooling on the sidewalk.

Across the street, at the Knott’s Lagoon, the ducks were enjoying drying off after the heavy rains.

More of the lagoon.

Knott’s Independence Hall.

The birds of paradise really enjoyed the rain too. This one is sitting with its mouth wide open, waiting for more. Also notice how the snail has found a nice comfortable place to rest.

The apartment complex in Anaheim where we stayed.

The rainy weather followed us all the way back home. This picture is from the ghost town of Little Lake, along Hwy 395 in Inyo County.
