Here are links to some of the websites I have worked on designing and developing. All my sites are written in XHTML and CSS, with a minimum of legacy hacks like table layout and spacer .gifs. You won't find a single <font> tag anywhere.
My personal site. You're basking in it right now. This site mainly is a home for my personal blog and the photoblog of my son Sammy. There are many sections to it, most of them mothballed. The blogs use Movable Type, with custom templates. All the rest is hand-written XHTML.

Around Carson is my all-consuming project. It is a community site for Carson City, Nevada, and I built it from the ground up. There is a community blog, which anyone can add posts to. There is a photo gallery, with an uploading tool. There is a "Then and Now" history section. There is a dining guide, and a guide to the historic buildings in town. I'm trying to build this site out to be a community resource and a meeting place for people to discuss local issues.
I started building the site in June 2005. It is all built in PHP and MySQL, and most of the pages are dynamically generated from database information. It is all my own code, with no off-the-shelf software except for PHPBB for the forums.

RCI is a multidisciplinary consulting firm in Carson City Nevada. It is also my day job. In 2002 I redesigned their website from the ground up. Their old site was an unfortunate mess of Front Page clipart from 1998. I trashed it all and built this. I had help from other team members working on portions of the content and visual design, but the majority of the design and coding is my work.
I still maintain the website and keep it current. Recently I've been focused on converting our reports from Word and PDF to HTML for the site.

RCI Intranet (private)
The majority of my formative web design experience was working on RCI's Intranet. I built their Intranet from scratch and have maintained and expanded it for over five years now. I have also built quite a few database-backed web applications for use in their company, some of them tied to the Intranet and some not.

My wife's personal blog. A Wordpress site. I customized a preexisting theme with a new background and gave the site a few other personal touches, but it's mostly a stock Wordpress install.
